THE GOD THAT DOES WHAT APPEARS TO BE IMPOSSIBLE: Apostle Emanuel J. McKenzie

Matthew 19:26 (NLT)

"Jesus looked at them intently and said, Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible."

1. Faith from God is an active, positive faith that trusts Him to bring the needed help and favor to accomplish what He said He would do.

2. Believing and acting on the promises of God is acknowledging that what seems impossible is possible.

GOD IS ABLE TO DO WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO:

Genesis 18:14 (NKJV)

"Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

Numbers 11:23 (NKJV)

"And the Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not."

Job 42:2 (NKJV)

"I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You."

Isaiah 59:1 (NKJV)

"Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear."

Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV)

"Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You."

Luke 1:37 (NKJV)

"For with God nothing will be impossible."

Romans 4:2 (NJKV)

"And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform."

Romans 8:24-25 (MSG)

"That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy."

Romans 8:24-25 (AMP)

"For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees? But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure."

Romans 8:24-25 (NLT)

"We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)"
