HOLY SPIRIT: Protect My Hunger In Drawing Near In the Holy Fear of God: Lady Kathy L. McKenzie

"Zion is calling me to a higher place of praise

To stand upon the mountain and to magnify his name

To tell all the people of every nation that he reigns

Zion is calling me to a higher place of praise

Zion is calling me to a higher place of praise"

QUOTE: Smith Wigglesworth: The Secret of Spiritual Success is a Hunger that Persists. It is an awful condition to be satisfied with one’s Spiritual condition. God has always been looking for Hungry, Thirsty People.

QUOTE: A.W. Tozer: Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth. Spiritual desire must be present or there will be no manifestation of Christ to His people. God waits to be wanted. Too bad that with many of us God waits so long, so very long, in vain.”

The Complacent Christian is Lukewarm Christian

The Laodicea Church was Complacent

Rev. 3:15-16 (Amplified):

‘"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. 16: So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]."

Zephaniah 1:12: (New International)

"I will search with lanterns in Jerusalem’s darkest corners to punish those who sit complacent in their sins. They think the Lord will do nothing to them, either good or bad."

Amos 6:1

"Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come!"
