An Invitation To Partnership: Apostle Emanuel J. McKenzie

WHICH IS GREATER GIFTS OR RELATIONSHIPS?

Deuteronomy 16:19 (GNT)

"They are not to be unjust or show partiality in their judgments; and they are not to accept bribes, for gifts blind the eyes even of wise and honest men, and cause them to give wrong decisions."

Exodus 23:8 (NLT)

"Take no bribes, for a bribe makes you ignore something that you clearly see. A bribe makes even a righteous person twist the truth."

Bribe: Money or favor given or promised in order to influence the judgment or conduct of a person in a position of trust.

Exodus 29:46 (AMP)

"And they shall know [from personal experience] that I am the Lord their God, Who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God."

Isaiah 43:11-13 (AMP)

"I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. I have declared [the future] and have saved [the nation in times of danger], and I have shown [that I am God]--when there was no strange and alien god among you; therefore you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I am God.13 Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand. I will work, and who can hinder or reverse it?"

Isaiah 43:15-16 (AMP)

"I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King. Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters."

Isaiah 43:18-19 (AMP)

"Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

LOOK AWAY FROM ALL DISTRACTIONS:

Hebrews 12:2 (AMP)

"Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

Distract:

1. To draw or direct (something, such as someone's attention) to a different object or in different directions at the same time.

2. To stir up or confuse with conflicting emotions or motives.

Synonyms: Agitate, bother, concern, derail, dismay, distress, disturb and worry.
